Pittsburgh District Kinderchor

The Pittsburgh District Kinderchor is a a children’s singing group that performs traditional German songs at the Teutonia Männerchor and other venues.  The Kinderchor is open to all children ages 5 through 17 who enjoy music and singing.  Rehearsals are held weekly at Teutonia Männerchor on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

The children sing a variety of traditional and contemporary German music, including cultural songs such as Stille Nacht and O’ Tannenbaum, and modern compositions by Peter Schindler. The children sing in German and are instructed by a native speaker to learn proper pronunciation and phrasing.
